Golden is a unique city with widely shared values.  One of the ten values expressed in the Golden Vision 2030 is the sense of Belonging and Volunteerism.   Vision 2030 states:

We are a community that provides multiple and varied opportunities to be involved and serve others based on common interest and focus, and * * * * that encourages volunteerism, civic involvement, and personal responsibility . . .

A wonderful city is defined by many elements such as open, honest government, clean streets, good schools and recreation opportunities.  But the heart and soul of a city is the willing active participation of its residents in all aspects of community life.  So, the heart and soul of Golden and it singular uniqueness are its volunteers.  Below is a list of volunteer opportunities – there are many more.  We treasure our volunteers and invite them to join us in maintaining Golden as a wonderful play to live.
